cavan cosmetics is built around thoughtful choices, not perfection.

sustainability is an ongoing consideration in how cavan products are made, packaged, and distributed. i’m continually looking at the materials, ingredients, production methods, and processes behind each product to understand where better choices can be made. i’ll keep learning, asking questions, and looking for ways to do better as cavan grows.

packaging

all cavan balms are packaged in plastic-free paper tubes with hand-finished details, helping reduce single-use plastic waste. materials are selected with intention, prioritizing options that can be reused, recycled, or composted whenever possible. each balm is designed with a natural lifespan of 8-12 months and to be used fully before its packaging reaches the end of its life.

small-batch production

products are made in small batches to avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste. smaller runs allow for greater attention to detail while helping ensure that products aren't made simply to sit on a shelf.

handcrafted

each balm is hand-finished individually, reflecting a process that is intentionally slow and human. small imperfections are part of the process and part of what makes each piece unique.
