sustainability

cavan cosmetics is built around thoughtful choices, not perfection.

sustainability is an ongoing consideration in how our products are crafted, packaged, and produced. i’m committed to continuing to learn, ask questions, and improve as the brand grows.

packaging

all cavan balms are packaged in plastic-free tubes with hand-finished details, helping reduce single-use waste. materials are selected with intention, prioritizing options that can be reused or more easily recycled whenever possible. each balm is designed with a natural lifespan of 8–12 months. unlike plastic tubes that can take over 500 years to break down, paper tubes are 100% compostable and made to be used fully before returning to the earth.

small-batch production

products are made in small batches to avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste. smaller runs allow for greater attention to detail and help ensure nothing is made in excess.

handcrafted

each balm is hand-finished individually, reflecting a process that is intentionally slow and human. small imperfections are part of the process and part of what makes each piece unique.
